The Sunday Special for today was TWO (that's right - TWO) meals with Julie, Kate, and Richard! Woooohoooooo!
We had breakfast this morning at Jimmy's with Richard, Julie, Kate, Greg, Alex, and Matthew and then dinner at Stanley's with Richard, Julie and Kate. I think this was the first time that Kate hasn't been really hungry. She picked a little but she was more interested in getting down (and up - and down - and up - and down - and up). I mean... really... it's not a big deal that she wasn't hungry - it was just unusual.
ANYWAY... as always, I was impressed with Julie and Richard's patience with Kate - without being indulgent - a tough balance, but one they exhibit over and over again. It seems some people were just born to be parents.
And... "the two's" are yet to come! What fun! :)
Note that the word "terrible" will not be connected in any way to Kate during this period -as it was not with Gregory, Alex, Matthew and Bryce - at least not by me.
Life really IS good, isn't it?
