Happy Birthday, Matthew...

... again! :)

Today was Matthew's 4th birthday party! Woooohooooo!

Greg and Amy had a big birthday bash at their house this afternoon. Greg cooked a ham on the rotisserie (on his grill) and there were hot dogs for the kids. TONS of food - potato salad, fruit salad, pasta salad, chips, pretzels, snacky things and an ice cream cake with candles for a birthday wish. If ice cream cake didn't do it for you, there was Strawberry cheesecake and a chocolatey, caramel pudding pie kind of thing. ALL kinds of goodies.

But the best part that everyone was there - Scott, Crystal and Bryce, Richard, Julie and Kate, and of course Greg, Amy, Gregory, Alex and Matthew. Amy's family was there - Paul and Joan, Chrissy and Will and Colin and Reilly, Lori and Josh (Hmmmm I don't remember seeing Tyler). LOTS of people!

I don't know who was more excited about Matthew's presents - Matthew or Bryce. Everytime Matthew opened a gift, Bryce got excited for him - "Wow! A water gun! Awesome!" or "A TRANSFORMER!" ...punctuated with hand claps and jumping up and down! Bryce was so much fun to watch!

Matthew managed to play with everything, but he seemed to especially love the Transformer! It looked like an engineering degree was required to figure out how all the pieces worked! Matthew is an amazing child - enthusiastic - sweet - with a mind that often sees things from a different perspective than most. Life's possibilities seem endless for Matthew!

I saw Gregory and Alex for a little while, but they're growing up and sooo busy! We need to do a "dinner with Grammie" again soon!

Scott and Crystal both looked great! We don't see them enough. This is such a busy time for them.

Greg made balloon animals for the kids - sooooo cute! Greg is just fun!
